First look: Alice by Temperley collection

We’ve been waiting with baited breath, but it was worth every second: with the imminent launch of the new Alice by Temperley line, we’ve got a first look at what’s to come.

Fans of the British designer will be pleased to hear ‘Alice’, the highly anticipated diffusion range from Alice Temperley, is reminiscent of the mainline collection but with a fresh, more accessible aesthetic.

With modern, feminine and flattering pieces forming the backbone, the collection is finished with the sort of haute handling we’ve come to expect from Alice Temperley, only at a fraction of the cost, with prices starting at £80.

‘Alice’ is inspired by the archetypal London girl , a playful and contemporary collection formed of ready-to-wear jersey pieces, light-weight knits and soft broderie anglaise tailoring, with quilted leather jackets and slate-grey denim taking a more directional path.

And just for fun, eclectic brights, powder-soft shades and prints including a ‘tiger print’, a silk ‘ace print’ and a colourful ‘carousel print’ add a good dose of British whimsy to this easy-cool London label.

Alice by Temperley will hit Harvey Nichols stores exclusively on February 25th in time for spring, but will be rolled out in select department stores thereafter. The countdown has begun.
