BAFTAS: Colin Firth and Carey Mulligan win
Celebrations were in order for two very fashionable winners this week, in the form of Colin Firth and Carey Mulligan who both received awards at the Baftas. A very dapper looking Firth received Best Actor for Tom Ford’s celebrated film A Single Man, and home-grown talent Carey Mulligan scooped Best Actress for her role in An Education – we also loved her in that stunning Vionnet gown!

Jourdan Dunn returns to Catwalk
Only ten weeks after giving birth, the young Brit model who was scouted in Primark made her return to the catwalk. Sashaying down the runway at the Aquascutum presentation Jourdan looked like she’d never been away, looking as chic as ever in a simple belted trench and metallic flats. Welcome back Jourdan!

Agyness Deyn’s screen debut
A few months ago we revealed that Aggy was planning to make a move into the world of acting and now we’ve got the latest update on her screen debut. Agyness has been working on a short film with McDermott and McGough called Mean to Me, where she’ll be debuting alongside Linus Roache. We look forward to seeing a little more than just Agyness’s modeling talents when the film is released.

Elle Style Awards
It was a week of fashionable parties this week and in amongst them all was the annual Elle Style awards with a bevvy of fashion’s beauties in attendance. Naomi Campbell scooped the big win of the night receiving the Outstanding Contribution award which she dedicated to close friend Alexander McQueen. Other winners included Alexa Chung for the Editor’s choice award and the Olsen twins for Style Icons of the year. A very fashionable evening indeed.
