Cosmopolitan Fashion Awards 2010

15th March 2010 5:23 am

We all know that the fash pack love any excuse for a soiree and it seems that the team at Cosmo magazine are no different as we discovered when we attended their annual Fashion Awards last week.

Held at the very stylish Kensington Roof gardens, fashionistas from all of our favourite high street brands turned up to the breakfast event looking fabulous as ever, and proving that it’s never too early for heels. It was however a little early for champagne, so OJ and coffee were the tipple of the morning.

Judged by Cosmopolitan’s readers and their expert panel the awards celebrate the very best in fashion retail, with winners including Asos for online fashion retailer of the year, hottest party wear going to Warehouse and the coveted lust-have designer award being given to D&G. It was also a great opportunity for Cosmo to announce that they will be increasing their fashion content in their new-look magazine, which is something we really like the sound of.

Justine Southall, one of the publishing directors of Cosmopolitan and co-presenter of the awards commented that their fashion awards aim to provide readers with the ultimate guide to the best retailers, which is reflected in their magazine content:

“Our readers buy us for our fashion content and as a result we have increased the number of, and investment in, our fashion pages.

Congratulations to all the winners at this year’s awards and if you want to see the full list of recipients they’ll be announced in the April issue of Cosmopolitan, and we look forward to even more fashion pages coming soon in the magazine.
