Weekly Poll: Outerwear as Underwear – do you dare?
It’s one of the biggest trends for Spring-Summer and is set to bring a little ooh-la-la to everyday dressing. It’s not the first time we’ve seen the Underwear as Outerwear trend, but this season wearing your knickers on the outside is a little subtler and thankfully a lot more wearable.
We saw it with varying degrees of dare on the catwalks, with forties style satin bra and knicker sets worn on the outside at Marc Jacobs to more understated corsetry mixed with tailoring at Antoni Beradi. The key to keeping this look chic is embracing Spring’s neutral palette for a more romantic take on the trend.
