Lunchtime buy: Desigual denim jacket

23rd March 2010 2:49 pm

Desigual’s latest collection takes inspiration from Ibiza, focussing on the hand tailored craftsmanship found in the Balearic Island. Creating a range of casual summer looks that will take you from beach to bar, no two pieces are identical, having been hand made using traditional methods and techniques.

Amongst the bright prints, strappy dresses and playful playsuits, our favourite pieces are the denim items – perfect for emulating that Chloe/D&G double denim look for spring 2010. In particular, we’ve got our eyes on this unusual jacket which features contrast sleeves, elbow pads and patchwork detailing.

Not keen on the jeans/jacket combo? Then why not take inspiration from the Desigual runway here, pairing with a cool, summer dress and leaving the jacket unbuttoned to create a flirty, ruffled image.

£114 from Desigual and selected House of Fraser stores, nationwide.

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
