The sell out’ sleep in a bottle’ face cream

6th April 2010 10:50 am

A new face cream that promises to rejuvenate skin overnight is landing on our shelves, and after the chocolate-filled Easter weekend we’ve had, we’re desperate to get our pampered paws on it.

Though that might be a problem. A favourite among the stars, including Kylie Minogue, Jennifer Lopez, Tamara Mellon and Kelly Osbourne, StriVectin Overnight Resurfacing Serum is the new must-have beauty buy – but it’s selling out across the UK fashionably fast.

“We had a huge waiting list at Harvey Nichols in London, well before we had even started to drum up publicity for the brand,” a spokeswoman for StriVectin said of the cream, which uses prickly pears and pink seaweed to revive skin as you sleep.

“Now there are waiting lists across the country,” she continued. “People these days are very savvy when it comes to splashing out on expensive creams and, I guess, they do their research.”

According to the Telegraph, the ‘sleep in a bottle’ cream is currently available at luxury stores, including Harvey Nichols and Harrods, for £49. Let the hunt begin.
