Lunchtime buy: Surface to Air Kurtis leather shorts
Leather is still a big trend for spring 2010 but it can be a difficult look to embrace during the warmer months. Celine kept the hemlines short with leather mini skirts in camel and teal while Chloe went for classic black with a pair of bum-skimming leather hotpants – a style that we loved on the catwalk, especially when teamed with that oversized khaki jacket (pictured below). Anyone else thinking Kate Moss and Glasto..?
We found this slightly less revealing pair of leather shorts from Surface to Air, which are pleated to give a more feminine, loose fit. We’re not entirely convinced we can quite pull them off but we’re definitely willing to give it a go! We’ll be teaming with a simple, fitted white t-shirt to draw attention to the statement shorts.
