Lunchtime buy: Ray-Ban Aviator sunglasses

27th May 2010 12:32 pm

Last night, us MFL girls were lucky enough to head to the Ray-Ban party in celebration of the iconic aviator at London’s Scala and we were reminded just how effortlessly stylish and timeless these sunglasses really are.

Displayed in glass cases and on the heads of many a minor celeb, the aviator was the star of the show. Although we’re not normally advocates of the ‘wearing sunglasses indoors’ movement, last night the Top Gun style shades were out in force as attendees (including Peaches Geldof, Jaime Winstone and Sadie Frost) bopped along to the likes of The Big Pink and New York Dolls and, well, it did seem kind of appropriate.

Get your very own pair of classic aviators: £118 from My-Wardrobe.

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
