Lunchtime buy: Diane Von Furstenberg Carrie Hill beaded dress

Thanks to Diane Von Furstenberg and, BA fashion print student at Central St. Martins, Carrie Hill, won the opportunity to create a new look inspired by DVF’s spring 2010 collection.

And the result? This stunning green and yellow print maxi dress, which also comes in a shorter version.

‘My inspiration for the dress came from African animal prints and flowers, which tied in well with the spring/summer 2010 DVF collection,’ Hill told Marie Claire.

With billowing flutter sleeves and a draped front as well as flickers of beaded embellishment, this design oozes comfort and glamour. Echoing the look of the DVF wrap dress, this Carrie Hill number fits right in alongside the rest of the sophisticated spring/summer 2010 collection.
