Lunchtime buy: ASOS biker maxi dress

10th August 2010 12:00 pm

You don’t need us to tell you maxi dresses have been this summer’s hottest ticket – but who says they can’t work just as well for autumn?

With its painterly floral print in subdued shades of taupe and blue, this biker dress from ASOS has shot straight to the top of our autumn wishlist.

It’s lightweight cotton and cut-away shoulders make it perfect for the last remaining days of summer, but its tougher details like that sterdy collar and biker-style zip will take this dress through to next season, too – just throw on your aviator jacket when the weather drops.

We love the on-trend midi waterfall hem, and its empire line cut lends a flattering fit for all shapes as an added bonus.

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
