How to wear it: leather shorts
Still no joy on the weather front, eh? Well, as the saying goes, every cloud has a silver lining, and this particularly grey cloud does have its plus side. Remember those leather shorts you’ve been lusting after all summer but haven’t been able to wear for fear of getting too, er, sticky? Now’s the perfect time to snap them up (or pull them out of your wardrobe if you’ve been especially savvy) and work them for this trans-seasonal period.

Balance out your tough bottom half with a suitably sleek silk blouse – not only is it a wardrobe staple, it’ll add a touch of femininity to your edgy shorts. For an effortless look, tuck it in, roll the sleeves up a notch or two and leave a few buttons undone at the neck.
