If you’re looking for something classic, feminine and glamorous for your makeup bag this season, you’re in luck – Marchesa has worked its magic on a new cosmetics collection for beauty brand Le Metier de Beaute.

Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, the design duo behind the luxury label, have joined forces with Le Metier de Beaute to create a limited edition line of beauty essentials – including two palettes (one smoky, one bronze), four lip glosses, a highlighter and a brightener – set to make Marchesa’s easy elegance achievable time and time again.

“Each season Keren and I introduce a new collection, but with the classic and consistent signature that is Marchesa,” Georgina explains to Elle UK. “We transport our customers back to a time when luxury fashion meant the best in tailoring, design, fabric, etc. When it came to launching a cosmetics collection, we wanted to do the same and we found immediately that Le Métier de Beauté shared these same core values.”

And, in a bid to create a keep-me collection that embodies the Marchesa woman, the pair have also designed exclusive packaging for the limited edition pieces, which steps away from Le Metier de Beaute’s signature matt black casing and towards a dark metallic silver – inspired by the dress Sandra Bullock wore to the 82nd Academy Awards, no less.

Marchesa for Le Metier de Beaute will be available at Selfridges and London’s Liberty in two weeks, with prices ranging between £25 for a lipgloss and £45 for a palette.
