First Look: Ann-Sofie Back’s latest collection for Topshop

25th January 2011 1:00 pm

Fashion big shot Topshop is no stranger to a guest designer or two – and spring/summer 2011 is no exception as Ann-Sofie Back crash lands at the retail giants for another round of sartorial masterpieces.

The new drop marks the Swedish designer’s fourth collection of capsule pieces for Topshop, all adhering to her signature grungey-gothic undertones – and the latest instalment is no exception.

With a dominant black, white and grey colour palette, the pieces aren’t the usual bright prints you’d expect from a spring line – instead, get ready for a menagerie of gorgeous mesh tulle leggings and stunning sheer jersey sweaters with twisted fabrics.

Some pieces from the collection have already hit stores and online shelves as we type, but fear not, the rest will swiftly follow suit on Thursday (27th January). And with prices starting from as little as £35, Topshop has certainly nailed cool, low-cost luxe once again.
