Lady Gaga needs your face

21st March 2011 9:00 am

Nothing fazes us anymore when it comes to the weird and wacky world of Lady Gaga, so as news comes to our attention that the Queen of cool and her budding side-kick Nicola Formichetti are setting out on a new fashionable adventure – and one that needs audience participation – to say we’re intrigued would be an understatement.

We all know that Gaga is the face of MAC’s Viva Glam campaign, but the superstar’s also planning a global collaboration with the coveted cosmetics brand by making a unique, wearable piece of art featuring the faces of all those who enter the project.

Gaga believes every single one of her fans is an artist. With attitude as liberation, style as revolution – we will create the largest global fashion collaboration ever. Your gorgeous faces can be a part of an epic movement that shows the world what can happen when people that care speak with one voice. It’s time to sparkle together!” reads a statement from the Viva Glam website.

As great as all this flattery sounds, what we really want to know is how to enter, right?

“All you have to do is submit a profile photo and you could become part of a wearable piece of art that will be worn by Lady Gaga.

Everyone knows the Lady loves getting dressed up; this will be the most beautiful thing she’s ever worn because of all the love put into creating it.”

So there you have it. All you need to do to get your face printed on the Gaga is submit a picture of yourself here and await the good news, reports Fashionista.

Time to dig out those fashionable photos, monsters!

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
