Lunchtime buy: Topshop Perrin premium platforms

22nd March 2011 12:00 pm

We love a tongue twister when it comes to fashion and these Topshop platforms aren’t half a mouthful! But that doesn’t stop us from lusting over them in all their peachy perfection.

We all enjoy strutting onto the dancefloor in a pair of cigarette thin heels, but sometimes we yearn for a little bit of support in the ankle area.

Topshop has given us two lots of safety features in these platforms – first there’s the chunky heel, which will prevent us from falling face first in front of that cute guy at the bar, and secondly, it’s cleverly added in an ankle strap to keep us extra secure.

But if the stiletto equivalent of air bags isn’t enough to sway you to flex your cash card, take a closer look at the beautiful detailing. Studs line the inner heel adding a rock chic vibe and the peep-toe will highlight your perfect pedicure (note to self: get a pedicure).

Wear now with a pair of dark tapered trousers and a colourful pussybow blouse for sleek seasonal style.

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
