Alexa Chung wears new season Mulberry in Korea

28th March 2011 9:00 am

Iconic British brand Mulberry was undoubtedly inspired by blooming flowers and romantic secret gardens for its spring/summer 2011 collection, so on March 23rd it took its giant neon roses to the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Seoul, Korea, to present its sunshine-infused catwalk collection – and of course, Mulberry muse Alexa Chung came along for the ride.

Showing off her DJ talents once again, Miss Chung looked effortlessly chic in a Mulberry pleated lavender shirt dress from the label’s autumn/winter 2011 collection on the night – not forgetting the gorgeous camel mixed hair calf Alexa bag she had safely tucked under her arm all evening.

Whilst listening to Alexa’s musical delights guests feasted on miniature foodie treats, including burgers, fish and chips, quiches and chocolate and Guinness cupcakes, washed down with rose Bellinis and watermelon Martinis – how very British indeed.

And at the end of the night everyone left with a seasonal cotton tote featuring the brand’s signature white rabbit popping out of Alexa Chung’s namesake bag – not that we’re jealous, or anything.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
