Sartorial warfare is common on the red carpet. Flashy frocks, jangly jewels and heels high enough to shy the Trump Towers are quite honestly the best part about attending a celeb-studded event. And this week, Disney’s sweetheart, and Bieber’s beau, Selena Gomez goes head-to-head with Hollywood’s darling Katherine Heigl in a stunning Reem Acra Resort 2010 wrap over dress.
Selena made an appearance recently at the L.A premiere of Justin Bieber’s latest release Never Say Never in a purple Reem Acra Resort dress. Paired with a glowing tan, glossy curls and a studded Giuseppe Zanotti pumps; the cinched waist stops the dress swamping her tiny frame, and the shorter length shows of those perfectly toned pins.
But back in 2009, Katherine Heigl attended the advance screening of her movie The Ugly Truth in New York in the same Reem Acra dress in a stunning cobalt blue. A slightly longer version, Katherine looks demure and exudes lady-like eleganct teaming her dress with minimal makeup, a simple cuff and black Christian Louboutin peep-toe heels.
Though we do think the shoe choice could’ve been a bit more adventurous from Ms. Heigl.

Both of them could have had shoes and clutches co-ordinated in some manner with their dresses (e.g., black metallic on Selena, instead of beige). They’re both pretty hot, though.
You must find zoom pictures of Selena Gomez shoes, the shoes were a second highlight!!
