Listen up all you Kate Middleton fashion lovers, the re-launch of Kate’s Reiss engagement dress is a thing of the past, now the hot buzz of attention focuses on her Whistles fitted engagement blouse – you know the other outfit she wore and styled herself – as the high-street super re-issue this one-of-a-kind piece.
Admirers of the cream silk blouse Middleton wore in her official engagement portrait can now grab a slice of the royal sartorial action as the item is now available online and in stores for just £125 – so what are you waiting for?
The blouse made its debut as part of the retailer’s autumn/winter 2008 collection, and way back then was priced at only £95- but as soon as Kate raided her wardrobe and wore it for her official engagement photo, its value rocketed, reports The Telegraph.
The divine ‘Kate’ blouse is made from 100% silk, complete with embellished frill detailing and delicately woven grandad collar – so naturally Whistles chief executive Jane Shepherdson couldn’t be happier with Middleton’s impeccable style choice.
“Whistles is known for its vintage inspired silk blouses, which are currently best sellers in its stores,” said Jane. “We are delighted that Catherine chose to wear Whistles in her engagement photographs.”
With the royal wedding taking place in less than four weeks time we reckon you should make the most of Kate’s pre-wedding style – because when the 29th rolls round, the only thing people will talk about is the royal wedding dress designer.
