Beauty buy of the week: Deborah Lippmann gold nail lacquer

For those not in the know, Deborah Lippmann is the nail artist to the stars, painting the talons of uber icons from Cher to Julia Roberts to Sarah Jessica Parker and Katy Perry.

Thankfully, for those of us who can’t afford to privately fly the lady herself out to buff our nails to perfection, she’s created a range of nail varnishes that are so pretty you’ll end up being entranced by your own fingers.

The cleverly named varnishes range from the brightest of hues to the shiniest of glitters but our absolute favourite has got to be the uber glamourous gold glitter varnish called ‘Boom Boom Pow’ (yes, named after Black Eyed Peas).
