Watch Daphne Guinness get dressed into Alexander McQueen at Barneys

3rd May 2011 9:27 am

It’s the video footage we’ve all been waiting for, Daphne Guinness undressing at Barneys New York store window, and to top it all off, she’s wearing McQueen. Naturally.

Before last night’s Costume Institute Gala Benefit, Ms Guinness chose to get ready for the coveted event not in the comfort of her own home, but in front of hundreds of gazing eyes.

As fans and media critics alike gathered in front of the iconic 61st Street and Madison Avenue Barneys window, they were treated to the delights of Daphne performing and getting dressed – behind a sheer panel, may we add – into a gorgeous cream feathered Alexander McQueen number, reports the Cut.

The house of McQueen is definitely on a high right now.

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
