Love or Hate: Marc Jacobs multi spot flower jumpsuit

10th May 2011 1:30 am

Broadly speaking, summer is the season the jumpsuit comes out to play. There’s something about those balmy evenings that makes the all-in-one look so right. But whilst it’s a welcome change to easy dresses and is guaranteed to always attract attention, many of us avoid it in fear of an epic style failure.

However, this Marc Jacobs multi-spot flower jumpsuit may just be the answer to all our quandaries.

I love the Seventies trend and this jumpsuit perfectly epitomises this for me. The wide waist belt with large flowers is a real focal point and screams Summer of Love. Plus, the wide trouser legs in floaty silk make it extra chic and perfect for warm evenings.

The hemline of the jumpsuit is super long so it requires a pair of seriously vertiginous heels, and a small leather clutch bag perfectly completes the look.

It’s a little bit hippie, a little bit Seventies-luxe and a little bit Carrie Bradshaw. Love.

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
