News just in: Coco Chanel‘s life story has been made into a musical, and it’s set to air exclusively for one month only at London’s Sadler’s Wells.
It’s a remake of an original Broadway production, which previously starred Hollywood legends Katharine Hepburn and Ginger Rogers in the namesake role, but the part of Coco will now be played by Olivier Award winner, Sara Kestelman – who has also worked at the RSC and National Theatre, reports Vogue UK.
With music created by André Previn and Alan Jay Lerner, the story is set to look at Coco’s later life, following her journey to remain an iconic designer as young faces try to steal the fashion limelight.
Tickets for the fashion fabulous show start at just £22 and will be on sale for the next month. For more information on dates click here – we suspect you need to act fast.
