Lady Gaga is named the most powerful star for 2011

20th May 2011 9:49 am

You may have known this all along, but now it’s official: Lady Gaga has been named the most powerful star for 2011 after Forbes released its annual Celebrity 100 list yesterday, documenting the most powerful people ever in the entertainment business.

The list includes plenty of film and television actors, models, athletes, authors, musicians and comedians, and measures their ranking order against each others earnings, media visibility, as well as each individual’s social media power by their presence on Facebook and Twitter.

Gaga has scooped first place over the likes of Oprah Winfrey and fellow newcomer Justin Bieber, with supermodel Gisele Bundchen staying strong as the world’s highest paid model at number 60.

Halston chief creative officer and Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker is at 73, alongside Natalie Portman and Cameron Diaz who came in at 75 and 81 respectively, and finally, our very own Kate Moss stands firmly at 94 with her impressive £13 million bank balance, reports Vogue UK.

Lets just hope all this fame and power doesn’t go to Gaga‘s head. Oops, too late!
