Selena Gomez borrows Dorothy’s ruby slippers, wears D&G

Since she went public with her relationship with Justin Bieber, singer and actress Selena Gomez has become even hotter on the celebrity circuit.

And she certainly wowed at the Billboard Awards in LA last night, choosing a contrasting black dress to wear on the white carpet.

Surrounded by sultry singers and sassy starlets, Selena made sure all eyes were on her in a full length Dolce and Gabbana dress with daring cut-out detail and a sexy next-season thigh high split.

Selena jazzed up her elegant gown with a pair of ruby strappy slippers which, although cute, looked a bit too yellow brick road than red carpet with their adorned bow.

Still, we’ll let her off – a silver cuff, boxed black clutch and sleek hair put her back on the style track.

We wish we looked this good at 18 (hell, if we’re wishing, we want a boyfriend like Bieber and the designer clobber, too).
