Halle Berry wears Victoria Beckham on the last Oprah

What does one wear to join a host of famous faces on the last ever Oprah show? Well, if you’re Halle Berry, a Victoria Beckham dress.

The actress opted for a nude one shoulder dress from the designer’s spring/summer 2011 collection as she appeared on Oprah’s final farewell show – and Victoria Beckham, for one, thought she looked fab.

“Halle Berry looked fabulous in #victoriabeckham SS11 dress on the @Oprah show last night!!!,” she tweeted, accompanied by a photo of Halle.

Ah yes, Victoria Beckham is no stranger to the advertising power of Twitter. As soon as she spots a celebrity in one of her designs, she tweets about it, and hey, who can blame her?

We’ve never seen anyone look anything but sensational in a Victoria Beckham dress and Halle certainly knew how to rock hers.

Her honey skintone complemented the netural colouring, and we love the delicate asymmetrical draping. Plus, her pixie crop gave a sleek androgynous edge to what’s otherwise a classic, feminine look.

She accessorised with only a spiralled silver bangle and a statement silver ring for a subtle but striking hint of sparkle – and we don’t think she needed anything else.
