Kate Middleton’s handbag designer has finally been identified

26th May 2011 9:54 am

As the iconic meeting of newly-weds Prince William and Kate Middleton with Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama unfolded on Tuesday, all eyes were naturally drawn to what the lovely ladies were wearing.

Kate’s beige Reiss dress she wore on the day caused such a stir, the label’s website subsequently crashed due to the sheer volume of users desperately trying to get that dress.

So now attention turns toward her accessories, and in particular, the dainty black clutch the Duchess of Cambridge was elequently holding, and as it turns out, the little silk pouch was a “Maud” by Anya Hindmarch.

The label announced the news yesterday in a press release, reports The Cut, so now doubt these little satin clutches will also be selling like hot-cakes as we speak.

We’re so glad lucky Kate has a down-to-earth take on fashion. It makes it even easier for us mere folk to steal her style. Yay!
