First look: Carine Roitfeld’s Chanel campaign

31st May 2011 10:20 am

We reported you the news back in early April that Carine Roitfeld had just finished styling Chanel’s latest campaign for autumn/winter 2011, and now that the ads have aired, as promised, we have the fruits of her fashionable labour for you to take a peak at.

The campaign has the same photographer as always – Mr Karl Lagerfeld – aswell as favourite model Freja Beha Erichsen, who’s back for her fifth consecutive campaign for the label, may we add.

But thanks to Roitfeld’s styling, the images have a somewhat raw and untouched quality to them compared to seasons past.

Having previewed the campaign at Cannes Film Festival, the campaign was shot at a photobooth in Paris, reports Fashionologie.

Well, they do say beauty comes from the strangest of places.

Take a look at the ads below…

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
