Freja Beha Erichsen on becoming a writer and her latest Chanel photobooth shoot

6th June 2011 9:23 am

It seems having highly successful model on her repertoire isn’t enough for Freja Beha Erichsen – she’s taken up a spot of writing, too.

“I do write now, but I’d like to actually be really good at it, you know? It takes years of practice, I think, in order to get really good at something,” says Freja.

As one of Karl Lagerfeld‘s favourite modelling muses, Freja recently starred in her seventh consecutive campaign for Chanel.

The autumn/winter 2011 images were styled by Carine Roitfed and shot by Karl himself in a photobooth in Paris.

“He [Karl] knows exactly what he wants, and he has a whole vision in his head, and he’s very creative, and he’ll come up with ideas for every single shoot, which makes my job extremely easy,” Freja tells Vogue UK.

Keep your eyes peeled for her prose…

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
