Another Helena Bonham Carter for Marc Jacobs ad!

15th June 2011 10:22 am

A week after Marc Jacobs released its first ad for autumn/winter 2011 featuring Helena Bonham Carter, it’s just revealed its second and, dare we say it, even sillier campaign featuring the actress.

And if you need brightening up this morning – weather check, we do – we challenge you not to crack a smile at this wonderfully witty (if a little weird) shot.

The second campaign, shot by Juergen Teller, shows Bonham Carter in a polka dot coat from the label’s AW11 collection, with a matching spotted bag slung over her arm, a donut hat placed artfully on her head, and circles drawn onto her hands and face.

Her eyes are all-but closed, her hair’s a mess and her tongue’s sticking out as far as it will stretch, which makes her look kind of like a drunk crazed clown – but despite this all, we love it.

Doesn’t it just look like she’s having the best fun in the world, with a little extra fun sprinkled on top? We wanna be in Marc Jacobs’ gang.

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
