Lunchtime buy: Chanel Vintage weekender bag

16th June 2011 12:06 pm

We’ve been searching the stores for the perfect daytime bag that will take us from the office to the shops and we are pretty sure that this is it – a Chanel Vintage weekender bag.

Despite its name, this bag is far too beautiful to keep cooped up in our closets all week.

The flapped pocket – emblazoned with the signature double C’s – covers an enormous pocket that begs to house all our day and evening essentials for just about every occasion.

The grain leather texture gives this bag it’s vintage edge, and if you ask us, it’s the chicest way to add texture to your seasonal style. Add in two trademark chain straps and an assortment of compartments and we can’t think of anything else we’d need in a bag.

Chanel Vintage weekender bag, £3,088, available at Matches. BUY NOW!

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!

Editor’s Pick

Polish off your sartorial brunch, boardroom and weekend silhouettes with Fendi's black textured leather duffle tote accented with tonal cow-print haircalf trim for that extra kick of Italian flair.
