Donna Ida is a dedicated designer of all things denim, and this September she wants you lovely ladies to slip on your comfy trainers and join her on adidas’ Women’s 5k Challenge.

Don’t be too put off by the word run – she’s only asking you to complete 5k – as it’s all in the name of the Jeans For Genes charity that offer funding for the care and support of children with genetic disorders.

All in all Donna is hoping to raise £50,000 for the cause, and in exchange for your good will she’ll be giving away some seriously worth while prizes, with everything from £50 gift vouchers to spend in the store and a T-shirt created by talented print designer Simeon Farrar, to goodie bags filled with Victoria Beckham sunglasses, tea at The Ritz, luxury pedicures and manicures, and jeans by Paige Denim, J Brand and James for the top fundraisers.

“I am so proud to be a patron for Jeans for Genes, it’s so important to make more and more people aware of the fantastic work that they do,” Ida told Vogue UK.

“This year, I’m hoping to raise more money than ever, and am teaming up with friends, colleagues, celebrities and journalists to run the adidas Women’s 5k Women’s Challenge as Team Donna Ida. We’re already having lots of fun training, and we’re promising goody bags plus cupcakes and Champagne after the race as an incentive to raise as much money as possible and smash our £50,000 target.”
