Harry Potter’s Bonnie Wright grows up on the cover of Haute Muse magazine

20th June 2011 1:30 pm

Um, when did Harry Potter star Bonnie Wright grow up and get so sexy?

God only knows what those guys at Haute Muse did to get her looking like that of the cover of the magazine’s July issue. We mean, she’s gone from looking like a cutesy tween star to a superstar actress in what seems like a year or two.

Actually, it’s been seven years – she shot to fame in 2004 playing little Ginny Weasley in aged just 13 – but Bonnie, now 20, is virtually unrecognisable as she poses all sultry and seductive with smoky eyes and plum lips which perfectly match her fiery mane on the cover.

Where did those cheek bones come from? Those lips? Those piercing eyes? That hair? We’re totally, utterly mesmerised by her and all her Julianne Moore-like beauty.

According to the Daily Mail, the cover is Bonnie’s latest bid to move away from her Harry Potter image – girl did good! – as she gears up for her new film The Philosophers.

“It’s set in an international school in Jakarta, and it’s about this philosophy class. The film takes this amazing turn where it becomes a psychological thriller,” she says.

“So, the character I’m playing is outgoing, and she’s quite fashion-forward and quite cool in the classroom, but she’s very outspoken, so I’m very excited about that because Ginny was always quiet.”

We doubt she’ll be keeping quiet for much longer with looks like that. Tom Ford campaign calling, anyone?

Let us know what you think of Bonnie Wright’s transformation on the cover of Haute Muse in our poll below.
