Holly Valance goes glam in a £4,335 Pucci dress

22nd June 2011 12:30 pm

Alright, when did Holly Valance become a serious style player? She’s barely been on the radar for the best part of 10 years, and suddenly she busts out big designer labels at every party going?

She caught our eye at Royal Ascot last weekend in Roland Mouret, where she carried an Hermes Kelly and Louboutins to boot; she rocked up at the Pre-Wimbledon party in Dolce & Gabbana, and at the McLaren party last night, she wore a £4,335 Pucci dress.

We blame her big-bucks billionaire boyfriend, Nick Candy, who happened to build McLaren’s new showroom and no doubt an entire wardrobe of wealthy wares for Holly, but hey, we’re not complaining, she looks great.

A “sartorial work of art” – Pucci’s words, not ours, though we daren’t disagree – the nude lace crochet dress is entirely embellished with tone-on-tone ribbon, tiny beads, tassels and various angular mirrors. And, with a criss-cross silk ribbon front, form-fitting shape and scooped back, it’s seriously sexy.

She teamed her dress with gold strappy sandals and a gold Alexander McQueen clutch for extra dazzle. Who doesn’t want to sashay around in a Pucci dress worth more than most people’s monthly pay?

Has Holly Valance become a new style-setter?
