Francois-Henri Pinault is the father of Linda Evangelista’s son

4th July 2011 10:34 am

After numerous spouts of speculation, Francois-Henri Pinault, Salma Hayek’s husband and the chairman and ceo of PPR, has been revealed as the father of Linda Evangelista‘s son.

The iconic supermodel attended court in Manhattan last week, after attempting to agree child support fees with the French billionaire.

Evangelista has always refused to reveal who her son’s father is, but now Augustin is four, it is believed the child was conceived in early 2006 whilst Pinault was not in a relationship with Hayek.

Pinault is undoubtedly one of the most powerful men in fashion – controlling brands such as Alexander McQueen, Gucci, Stella McCartney, Balenciaga and Yves Saint Laurent – but it’s not the first time the French fashion ambassador has faced paternity issues.

In early 2009 he was forced to deny he was the father of French cabinet member Rachida Dati’s daughter Zohra, reports Vogue UK.

All this scandal is too much for us to handle on a Monday morning.
