First look: Mulberry’s AW11 campaign and short film

5th July 2011 2:00 pm

If you thought autumn was all bleak and bland, Mulberry’s AW11 campaign and accompanying video will dig you out of your damp spirits.

Shot in an English manor in Oxfordshire, Mulberry’s two models for the new season, Tatiana Cotliar and Julia Saner, slump seductively against velvet chairs, stand admist scattered leaves and ornate chandeliers, and hang out with foxes like they’re best friends in the latest campaign lensed by Tim Walker.

It’s typical Mulberry, and it’s quintessentially British, fusing the opulent charm of the countryside with English eccentricity.

And in case the stills aren’t enough, you can watch the campaign come to life in the luxury label’s video.

Working alongside director Luke Losey and cinematographer Serge Teulon, Mulberry’s creative directors captured moments of the autumn shoot and cast them in a short animated film, where 2D models and woodland creatures caper among the 3D setting.

Fun, fantastical, and playfully set to the painfully catchy music of Miike Snow’s Animal, we reckon you’ll be hitting repeat all afternoon. Watch it below and click through our gallery to see more campaign images.
