Kate Middleton gets skinnier in Joseph

5th July 2011 1:30 pm

Kate Middleton may have been playing a clever game of fashion politics recently on her trip to Canada with a double dose of Canadian-British designer Erdem, but we do wish she’d eat some fried chicken.

Wearing a cream dress by Joseph, another of Kate’s favourite labels, with a scooped neck and grosgain waistband on Sunday, she looked perfectly elegant, but by God does she look tiny.

We’ve got no complaints with the dress itself – it’s chic, classic and, for once, doesn’t age her – but it swamps Kate’s shrinking frame. The waistband barely cinches in, and there’s a significant lack of curves filling the upper and lower elements of the dress.

In case you’re wondering, she finished with her favourite accessories – a clutch and pumps from L.K. Bennett.

What do you think of Kate’s style? Does she need to fill out her frocks more? Cast your votes below!

Does Kate Middleton need to call back the curves?
