Forever 21 opens new flagship store at Lakeside Shopping Centre

6th July 2011 11:05 am

US fashion favourite Forever 21 is about to open its first flagship store at Lakeside Shopping Centre.

They currently have only one store open in the UK at Birmingham’s Bullring, which opened last year, but it seems the Essex shopping hot-spot is the perfect next step in conquering the British fashion scene.

The Essex-based store is set to open for Christmas 2013 as part of an £8 million development at the centre, where the new store will take over the 31,500 square foot unit held by Topshop and Topman, who will move to another existing unit currently occupied by BHS, reports LDNfashion.

But it doesn’t seem their expansion plans end there, with deals to open shop on Oxford Street this month, Bluewater in Kent, Liverpool’s One Centre and Glasgow’s new Buchanan Street development set to unfold in the next few years.

We’re too excited for words.

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
