Get the look: Olivia Palermo in Topshop

13th July 2011 2:00 am

Whilst attending Giambattista Valli Haute Couture autumn/winter 2011 show during Paris Fashion Week at Galerie De La Madeleine, actress Olivia Palermo looked suitably couture-like in a lemon fresh summer dress – not from the designer, but from high street fave Topshop!

Olivia has always been on the fore front of fashion, what with her inherent sense of style and the ability to make even a bin bag look good, so it’s no wonder she’s got fashion fans weak at the knees with her endless run of perfect outfits.

We love Olivia’s citrus zesty dress and tribal accessories – a clever combination of pretty and polished – so much, we decided to recreate her look for ourselves, so you too can step out outside knowing you’re dressed to Palermo perfection.

This yellow midi-dress from Topshop is, in actual fact, the exact same one Olivia’s wearing above, so you’re in safe hands knowing this vintage-inspired dress is loved by even Olivia herself – and at just £46, it’s an absolute bargain.

This tribal woven necklace by Lucy Hutchings is the perfect statement necklace to really inject a dose of vibrant ethnic style into your summer outfits. The bright pops of paintbox colours and futuristic layered effect make way for a jaw-droppingly gorgeous accessory that’ll transform simple looks to the most perfectly put-together ensembles like Palermo.

For a touch of signature sparkle, Olivia finishes her low-luxe look with a gold clutch. We love Aspinal of London’s Elizabeth clutch for effortless glam – and it’s in aid of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, too.
