Last week, Katy Perry celebrated the worldwide launch of her latest movie The Smurfs in New York City, wearing a rather gorgeous Smurfette emblazoned dress.
The custom made outfit was certainly fitting, considering the event, and definitely leaned more toward Katy’s love of cartoon character attire.
The dress itself was cute, fun and quirky – not to mention simply dripping in crystals – but it’s not something we’d make a habit of wearing on a daily basis, in fact, we reckon only Miss Perry herself could ever pull this look off!
Teaming her outfit with statement blue pumps and a head of new blonde hair, Katy looked every inch the luscious Smurfette.
We think Katy rocks this Smurfette dress…do you?

The size of the dress is definitely not right for Katy Perry. The length should have been a little longer and the bustier gone up a bit. Otherwise it looks as if Ms Perry stole the dress from the children’s store and is not feeling very comfortable in it knowing how small it is.
I’d really like to make a costume this year, but I’m looking for a costume to go with a Katy Perry song. Most of the songs I like from her are mainly on her new album. I like all the songs on the CD and I love all the fun outfits she wears. Can anyone give me some cheap or cheap-ish ideas? Thanks. =)

She’s a good singer but a bad role model. Her songs can be really inappropriate. I liked her last album (one of the boys) better than the new album.
