Now, this Marc by Marc Jacobs red clutch in Bianca leather is definitely going to hit the fashion trends of AW11 on the head. The envelope clutch is one of the most sought-after styles for this season and next, and it’s one of the most versatile. Such simplicity makes for a classic when it comes to the ever-evolving world of fashion.

So here are the pros:

  • Such a roomy clutch bag will take you from day through to night.
  • The Bianca leather works one of next season’s on-trend boozy tones, and sparkles with its metallic lock fastening.
  • It works wonderfully well whether you’re channelling that cutting edge mannish style or that ladylike, Forties glamour.
  • It’s got the makings of a classic.

    But here’s one major con: when all is said and done, no matter whether it hits the trends on the fashion head or not, whether Marc by Marc Jacobs made it or not and whether the colour’s too boozy or not, it’s just not my personal style.
