Zoe Saldana makes a statement in Prabal Gurung

26th August 2011 11:30 am

If there was one resort collection we’d turn to to make the ultimate style statement with extra zing this season, it’d be Prabal Gurung. And it appears that our favourite Avatar actress, Zoe Saldana, agrees.

Stylishly working a smattering of feathers on her sleeves (very next season, we might add), she kept the rest of her look luxe and laid-back in neon pink crew-neck top and clashing emerald skirt from Gurung’s resort 2012 collection.

Zoe teamed her bright colour-blocking ensemble with McQueen’s edgy black Sting-Ray Shark Teeth Skull clutch, also from the resort 2012 collection, for her appearance at the Neo-Golden Age party presented by Flaunt Magazine in LA last week.

We love the subtle hint of white coming through the shoulders to artfully break up the block of rainbow brights, and the addition of sleek, barely-there sandals is the perfect pared-down choice.

Sometime eclecticism just doesn’t need jewellery. But what do you think: is less more, or does she need to amp up the glam?

Is Zoe's look red-carpet-worthy or way too casual?
