And the bride wore Stella! Paul McCartney married Nancy Shevell in London’s Old Marylebone Town Hall this weekend, both kitted out in custom made Stella McCartney! Aw, talk about a personal wedding present!
Even though the music legend and his fiancée decided against a super-lavish ceremony and Nancy’s gown wasn’t one Kim Kardashian might have chosen, it was perfectly pared-down for the couple.
Stella designed a long-sleeved ivory dress that finished just above the knee for her new step-mum and a very swish navy suit for her father. Understated and elegant – just what Stella does best.
But despite the town hall wedding, Paul McCartney clearly spared no expenses on the wedding ring, treating his new bride to a vintage style Neil Lane band complete with five carats of square cut diamonds set in platinum – that should go nicely with her Neil Lane engagement sparkler!
The happy couple are also expected to head stateside for another celebration later this month, so we’ll be closely monitoring the bride and groom’s fashion for that one too. Congratulations, guys!
