A few months ago it was announced Alexa Chung would be given another chance to prove herself as a fashion show host with the launch of her brand new TV series, 24 Hour Catwalk.
And with Ms Chung’s impressive CV, she seems like the perfect candidate to host the show that follows budding designers around for 24 hours as they try and complete various challenges.
“I only wanted to do this if it was going to be a genuine search for designers and if I would be working alongside people who are legitimate in the fashion industry,” she said.
We hope for her sake it will fare slightly better than Alexa’s previous foray into the fashion hosting world. It’s on with Alexa Chung was cancelled after just one year, leaving the Chung feeling “burnt” by its failure. But Alexa’s hopeful that this show has what it takes to make it big.
“I got so burnt by the last show,” she told Teen Vogue. “But everything feels right this time. I really like the team. From day one, we’ve laughed nonstop.”
Even if it’s a little cringey, we know we’ll be hooked by episode three.
