Andrej Pejic out-dresses the girls in London

15th October 2011 1:00 am

If isn’t often we feature guys on the celebrity style section of MFL, but after seeing Andrej Pejic on a night out in London this week, we definitely think he deserves a mention. Showing us girls how it’s done, the Jean-Paul Gautier and Marc Jacobs model looked slick and effortlessly stylish.

His white shirt-cape hybrid was rocked up by a cool leather trim, and was perfect for an evening out in Chelsea.

He teamed it with one of the hottest items of the season, a soft leather skirt. Andrej chose to pair his minimalist ensemble with a pair of knee-high grey socks and flat black leather boots for a cool, off-beat edge.

Black opaques probably would’ve been a sleeker finish to this look, but hey, we’re not going to complain about the way Andrej is breaking down male model stereotypes and really embracing his individuality.

Plus we’re also slightly jealous of those pins…

What do you think? Does Andrej’s look inspire you, or should he leave skirts to the girls?

Is Andrej's cool-girl look inspiring, or should he leave skirts to the girls?

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
