X Factor judges fashion: week 2

17th October 2011 9:30 am

In case you’ve been living under a rock, last night was the second week of the X Factor live shows – and as tense as the first public vote was, clearly the most important factor (see what we did there?!) for us was, of course, the fashion.

On Saturday, Kelly wowed us with her red hot Todd Lynn mini dress, proving that Beyonce isn’t the only former Destiny’s Child member with a flawless body.  Tulisa went for a more dramatic look in what appeared to be a shredded leather take on the mullet dress and a scraped back ballerina-style up-do.

Last night, Kelly once again took the style crown (not that we’re turning it into a competition) in a Julien Macdonald floor length gown with a sheer bust; it sent the Twitterverse mad and we can clearly see why.

Although Tulisa’s white box dress got mixed reviews on Twitter, we have to say that we liked it. It’s edgy (literally), youthful and fits in well with what some of the contestants were wearing too. The stylist clearly has a vision and isn’t afraid to show it.

Here’s to next Saturday!

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
