First Look: Miranda Kerr for Rag & Bone’s DIY Project A/W 2011

18th October 2011 10:49 am

This is your very first look at the new DIY Project campaigns from Rag & Bone, who’s decided to release the full ads after weeks of teasing us.

We all know that Miranda Kerr has a flawless body, as she was recently given the honour of being the first Victoria’s Secret babe to model the 2011 Fantasy Treasure bra.

But, Miranda is one of those girls who look just as good all dolled up and airbrushed as they do without all the fuss – and these images are photographic proof.

So what big-name photographer is behind Mrs Orlando Bloom’s Rag & Bone autumn/winter 2011 campaigns? Given the evidence of the end results, you may be surprised to hear that it isn’t a professional photographer at all. The DIY project eliminates all pro photographers, stylists and make-up artists to give the models the chance to capture and style themselves however they see fit.

Some of the pictures were taken by fellow supermodel Lily Aldridge while the pair were working together in New York, while the others were taken by Miranda’s hubby Orlando during their New Zealand holiday.

Aw, if the acting work stops rolling in we think photography would be a well-suited profession for Mr Bloom, don’t you?

Take a look at some of our favourite images in our gallery below.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
