Lunchtime buy: Equipment Brett Lava shirt

1st November 2011 12:00 pm

With the recent launch of her new book, Irreverent, we’re wishing that we could live a little bit of Carine Roitfield’s life.

The ex-editor of French Vogue has always been très cool in the style department, and her book documents the fashionable life that one might expect the editor of one of the biggest style publications to lead.

So, what better way to buy into the French Fashion Dream than to invest in a piece from Carine’s husband’s own label, Equipment? Christian Restoin founded the French label, which specializes in silk shirts, in 1976, and has been supplying style conscious Francophiles with beautiful shirts ever since.

This lava print shirt is an exciting take on the typical silk blouse. Its bold pattern will make you stand out from the crowd while its classic fit will undoubtedly provide you with that all important je ne sais quoi.

Yes, please!

Equipment Brett Lava Muliti shirt, £210, available at Oxygen Boutique.

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
