Rumour has it that Brazilian beauty Gisele Bündchen is replacing Riccardo Tisci’s muse Mariacarla Boscono as the face of Givenchy… and the fashion house doesn’t appear to be denying it either!

“The only show that Gisele did this season is Givenchy,” a spokesperson for the label told British Vogue. “As for the spring/summer 2012 campaign, watch out the February issue of Vogue to find out!” Ooo, what teases!

That isn’t the only hint that has led fashion detectives to put two and two together and speculate that Gisele is the new face of the label. Not only did Gisele close the Spring/Summer 2012 show during Paris Fashion Week, but male model Noah Mills tweeted about shooting with Gisele in Jamaica, while hairdresser Luigi Murenu (a firm Givenchy favourite) revealed he’d tended to Gisele’s tresses in the same location. Coincidence? We think not!

If the rumours are true, this wouldn’t be the first time Gisele has fronted a Givenchy campaign; back when Alexander McQueen was at the helm in 2000, Gisele was quite the Givenchy favourite. Watch this space!
