The boucle Chanel jacket created by Coco Chanel in the twenties is one of the most iconic fashion staples of the past century, which is why it has become the subject of a new book that is currently being penned by Karl Lagerfeld himself.

“The secret of the Chanel jacket is that it stays new, or let’s say it is revived all the time,” Karl Lagerfeld told V magazine. “The pleasure of wearing it must give, I suppose, a kind of happiness, and at the same time the object itself is beautified.”

The photobook will consist of some of the world’s most fashionable women, including models, actresses and overall fashionistas wearing the jacket that has been a wardrobe favourite (some might even say, essential) since it hit the scene in 1926.

We are mega excited about the release of this book; keep your eyes peeled for details as and when they emerge!
