McQ comes to London Fashion Week and opens a flagship store in Mayfair

23rd November 2011 10:09 am

Could the next London Fashion Week in February be the best one ever? Just yesterday, we announced that Stella McCartney would be coming home to hold a fashion presentation during London Fashion Week, and today another fashion house has revealed that it is bringing one of its brands to London.

For the first time since the brand launched, Alexander McQueen will be showcasing its younger McQ collection with a catwalk presentation during London Fashion Week, although the mainline collection will continue to show at Paris Fashion Week.

The catwalk show will coincide with the McQ flagship store that is due to open in London’s Mayfair (at 14 Dover Street, to be exact) in the spring.

A four storey Georgian townhouse – with 273 square metres of retail space – has been transformed to house the collection which offers womenswear, menswear and accessories.

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
